Ingredients:
2 lb ground meat (beef, pork, turkey, chicken, or lamb are all good choices)
3/4 cup shredded cheese
1/4 cup tomato sauce OR sauce of your choice
1 clove garlic, minced
2 ea. eggs, whole
/2 cup bread crumbs, torn up bread, or croutons
1/2 cup whole mile or half and half
1 T High 5 Original Unboring Salt or Power Lifter
1/4 tsp High 5 Fixer Upper No Salt Blend
3-4 cups bbq sauce OR pasta sauce for cooking
Method:
1. Gently combine all ingredients in mixing bowl EXCEPT cooking sauce
2. Season, then test by cooking a small portion of mixture and tasting; adjust seasoning to taste.
3. Portion mixture with spoon and form into nice ball shape.
4. Bake @ 350 for 15-20 minutes until cooked through -time will
vary depending on size of meatball; OR brown in a large sauce pot until golden on all sides, then cover with sauce and simmer until completely cooked through, at least 20 minutes or as long as 45 minutes depending on size; this can also be done
5. Serve warm in sauce
